Celebrating students who ‘Make a Difference’

Our Spring term ‘Make A Difference’ assembly was celebrated on Valentine’s Day. The students with the most ‘MAD’ points in each year received special Gold, Silver and Bronze awards. We were very lucky this time around to be sponsored by Swizzels Matlow who provided each winner with a packet of Love Hearts which had been specially personalised, plus a bag of sweets.

Every student who had retained all of their positive points also received a pack of Love Hearts. This was over 500 students which is fantastic! We are so proud of them as they are clearly striving to make positive choices and engaging brilliantly with their learning in school.

We also acknowledged a number of students with the ‘Staff Special Recognition Award’. This recognises students who have improved their effort, attitude and behaviour, or those who have shown resilience in challenging circumstances.

Well done to every student who received an award, and a big thank you to Swizzels for their delicious treats! We are looking forward to the next ‘Make A Difference’ assembly which will take place before the Easter break.
