School Fund Account

As permitted by Derbyshire County Council financial regulations, Chapel-en-le-Frith High School operates a school fund account. This account is separate from the main funding that the school receives from the Local Authority.

The school fund account is held with the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) and is used for the following:

  • Income and expenditure in relation to school trips.
  • Charity collections and payments.
  • School fundraising.
  • Concert and drama production income and expenditure.
  • Parental and other donations.
  • School Prom income and expenditure.

The school fund financial year end is 31st March, the account is independently audited annually and the audited accounts are presented to the Governing Body for approval.  The account has a total of 4 signatories; cheque payments must be signed by two of these signatories.

Download a copy of the summary of account activity, signed by the auditor.

The accounts are available for examination at the discretion of the Headteacher.   If you would like to view them or have any further queries please contact Mrs Jo Emsley, Clerk to the Governors.
