Online payments for school meals and events

As you are aware we have moved away from accepting cash and cheques as payments for goods and services. We use ParentPay as a means for parents and carers to pay for the vast majority of our transactions. We do, however, still accept cash for the sale of small stationery items from Pupil Reception, such as pens and exam packs.

There are a range of advantages in taking this action, for parents, students and staff at the school:

• Cash is not lost on the way to school.

• There is no need to go to the bank/cashpoint to get cash out.

• It is convenient - you can log into your account 24 hours per day.

• It reduces administration time for Chapel-en-le-Frith High School.

For those parents who do not have access to the internet or prefer not to use ParentPay, the alternative way to pay is by PayPoint. If you require a PayPoint card school will issue the first card. We would have to charge for any subsequent cards.

If you have not yet activated your ParentPay account and need a copy of the activation letter, please contact the school office. If you need any help or have any queries please contact Mrs J Emsley at school or visit www.parentpay.com.

Making secure payments online using your credit or debit card

ParentPay offers you the freedom to make payments whenever and wherever you like, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, safe in the knowledge that the highest internet security standards are applied.

You will have a secure online account, activated using a unique username and password. If you have more than one child at our school, or children at another ParentPay school, you can create one single account login for all your children regardless of which school they attend. Making a payment is straightforward and ParentPay holds a payment history for you to view at a later date; no card details are stored in any part of the system. Once you have activated your account you can make online payments straight away.
