Drama trip to Buxton Opera House

We took Year 11 drama students and members of the Drama Club along to see “Little Shop of Horrors” at Buxton Opera House. Students tucked into a two-course meal at Pizza Express as an end of year treat before visiting the theatre to watch the horror comedy musical. The group thoroughly enjoyed the performance and marvelled at the madcap plot about a florist's assistant who cultivates a plant that feeds on human blood! The students were also amazed at the show-stopping vocals and the style of the show. 

Seren A said, “Absolutely loved the cast, and it made me cry.”

Drama Club has now finished for this academic year as rehearsals for the next school musical, “Matilda”, are now well underway. Watch this space for more news about this soon…
