Pre-loved Prom Event 2024

We are hosting our Pre-Loved Prom event after school on Thursday 29th February and we need your help! Over the last few years this event has been really successful, giving our Year 11s the chance to browse and choose an outfit for the Prom for a small donation to charity. This is a brilliant opportunity for students to grab a bargain, raise money for a great cause and reduce the impact on the environment by choosing to wear a pre-loved outfit. In previous years we have had students who would not have been able to attend their own prom without being able to source an outfit at the pre-loved event, so it really does make a difference.

This year we are once again asking for donations of pre-loved items in good to nearly-new condition: dresses, suits, shirts, shoes, handbags and hair accessories. We are also on the hunt for some prom-related raffle prizes such as vouchers for local hairdressers, barbers and beauticians, or for transport to the venue. Do you own a local business and could you help?

All the money raised at this event will go towards Prom 2024 to help to reduce the ticket price for our students, as well as fundraising for our wonderful local charity, Blythe House Hospice.
