Sponsored walk for Teenage Cancer Trust

We are very proud to report that over 140 of our year 10 students joined together in June to complete the annual sponsored walk in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust. We were very lucky with the weather this year and the sun shone as the group walked 10 kilometres through the beautiful Combs Valley. Students and staff enjoyed the challenge of the hilly route before returning to school for a well-earned delicious barbecue.

Chapel High has been supporting this fantastic charity for 28 years now and we are thrilled to confirm that we have raised an incredible £2,954 this year!

Teenage Cancer Trust works to improve the cancer experience of young people aged 13 to 24 in the UK. All of the money raised from our sponsored walk will go towards building and equipping dedicated units in NHS hospitals. A huge well done to all the students and staff who took part in this lovely event.
