Students win church artwork competition

We are very proud of three of our talented artists who have been selected to work on a special design for St Thomas Becket church. Their competition brief was to create a piece of artwork which celebrated the people of Chapel-en-le-Frith. This forms part of the church’s upcoming 800th anniversary celebrations which will mark its long history of serving our local community. Well done to Hannah C (Year 7), Ella V (Year 8) and a Year 9 student who produced brilliant winning designs.

These students are now collaborating on an enlarged painting which will be displayed in the church from 21st June – 6th July to commemorate the church’s key role in our community. We cannot wait to see Chapel High students’ artwork on display as part of this special event.
