Wind Band perform at Buxton Festival

Congratulations to our school Wind Band who performed at the Buxton Festival of Music, Speech and Drama recently. They played brilliantly and impressed the judges with their “confident and enjoyable” performances of Seven Nation Army, Feel My Love and Mission Impossible. The judges awarded the group with a highly commended mark of 86 out of 100, just one mark away from a coveted distinction. Well done to all members of the band, this is a great achievement. We hope that this will give them the confidence to share their talent and take part in more performances in the future.
