Year 11 Sponsored Walk

Well done to our Year 11s who took part in the annual Sponsored Walk to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust. It was third time lucky for our walkers, but despite the rain forecast this time around, it stayed dry and 80 students walked 6 miles through the beautiful Combs Valley. They stopped for tea at Hazelhurst farm along the way and celebrated their efforts with a brilliant barbeque put on by staff back at school.

We have been supporting Teenage Cancer Trust for 25 years now and last year the school raised over £2,600. This wonderful charity works to improve the cancer experience of young people aged 13-24 in the UK and money raised goes towards building and equipping specialist units in NHS hospitals.
