Year 6 Transition Events - welcome to our new students

We have absolutely loved meeting our soon-to-be new Year 7s at the Transitions and Induction Events over the last few weeks. What a fantastic group of young people, your primary schools and parents should be very proud of you! Our new students took part in a big selection of subject sessions to give them an idea of what secondary school classes will be like, including activities in Science, Drama, Modern Foreign Languages, Technology, Music and PE. They also enjoyed meeting members of their new tutor group, talking to their new teachers and navigating around the school building. They worked so hard, behaved beautifully and made some new friends along the way. We were very proud to welcome them into our school community and are excited about seeing them all again in September.
